Biography

Sam is a native son of Austin, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in History and Government. After a brief stint in the United States Army, and several years as a consultant in the tech industry, Sam realized that his true calling was to be an attorney. 

Sam attended law school in Virginia, at the University of Richmond. He spent his summers clerking at firms in California and Virginia, including McGuireWoods, where he focused on public policy projects and worked on the legal team representing Vice President Mike Pence. While attending law school, Sam founded a start-up with three other UR students dedicated to expanding access to the power of lobbying to ordinary citizens through a digital crowd-funding platform.

After law school Sam returned home to Austin to pursue a career as a litigator. Set on joining a practice where he could learn from experienced attorneys with a wide breadth of experience, and top reputation, Sam joined Wright & Greenhill, P.C. Sam works in construction, insurance, commercial and employment litigation.
