Biography
Craig Courville has extensive litigation experience in Construction Law and Civil Litigation, generally. Craig was first selected as a Texas Super Lawyers®, an Internet Brands publication, honoree in 2016 and has been recognized each subsequent year through 2025 as one of the top-rated Construction Litigation attorneys in Austin, Texas. He was also included as a Texas Super Lawyers® magazine Rising Stars, an Internet Brands Publication, in 2006. Craig also holds an AV Preeminent Peer Review rating through Martindale Hubbell, and received a "Superb" rating from his peers on Avvo. Austin Monthly Magazine named him a Top Lawyer from 2021-2023.
Craig joined Wright & Greenhill, P.C., in 1998 and became a shareholder in January of 2007. His practice primarily involves the representation of individuals, businesses, corporations and employers in state and federal courts across Texas. In addition to his experience contractors, subcontractors and property owners, Craig also has significant experience handling personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, commercial disputes, breach of contract, and employment disputes.

Representative Cases
- Won jury verdicts and summary judgments on behalf of individuals and business clients in state and federal courts across the State of Texas
- Obtained favorable settlements on behalf of a general contractor in a construction defect lawsuit brought by a school district alleging $10,000,000+ in damages for repeated and pervasive water intrusion issues caused by a combination of design and construction defects
- Successfully defended national design-builder in lawsuit brought by a hospital system alleging $25,000,000+ in repair costs and consequential damages following renovation and extension of regional hospital
- Helped homeowners, in disputes with contractors who refused to complete projects and threatened to lien properties, which allowed them to complete their renovation
- Successfully won summary removal of invalid liens from commercial properties on behalf of owners and general contractors
- Assisted a national general contractor wrongfully terminated from a hotel renovation project recover the value of the work performed and protect its rights under their contract
- Assisted many employers investigate fatal on the job accidents and represented them in the OSHA investigations and lawsuits that followed
- Represented clients in trademark, trade dress, copyright, and Lanham Act disputes and lawsuits
- Won appeals before the appellate state and federal appellate courts court to successfully defend favorable verdicts and judgments obtained at the trial court
- Provided general counsel services for small businesses and charities across Central Texas including reviewing contracts
