Wright & Greenhill is proud to congratulate Morgan Shell for being named to Austin Monthly‘s “Austin’s Top Attorneys 2020” in the “Rising Star” category. Austin Monthly chooses which lawyers to name to its annual Top Attorneys list by a process that includes nominations by other licensed Austin attorneys and other criteria. This year’s honorees are featured in the August 2020 edition of Austin Monthly. The “Rising Star” category recognizes attorneys who are “bright up-and-comers with less than 5 years of experience” as a licensed attorney.
Morgan Shell’s legal work as an associate with Wright & Greenhill focuses primarily on litigation. She serves as lead counsel in her own caseload and acts in a supporting role for some of Wright & Greenhill‘s largest ongoing litigation matters. Her litigation experience includes work on cases in the legal fields of employment, personal injury, civil rights, contracts, construction, and more.
Outside of her practice, Morgan was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Austin Young Lawyers Association for the 2020-2021 term. Morgan was also selected for and completed the Austin Bar’s Leadership Academy for the class of 2019. Prior to joining Wright and Greenhill, Morgan served as Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and worked at the Texas Indigent Defense Commission where she helped secure the 6th Amendment rights of Texas defendants.
