Ms. Coughlin is the managing shareholder of Wright & Greenhill P.C. She is the youngest person to hold this position in over 20 years. In addition to other honors, she has been named a Texas Top 100 Rising Star Super Lawyer, a Texas Top 50 Female Rising Star, and has been selected as a Super Lawyer or Rising Star every year since 2014.

She represents individuals, small businesses, schools, and corporations in numerous types of civil and commercial litigation of varying size and complexity. A seasoned trial attorney, she has handled a wide-range of cases in state court, federal court, and arbitration. She has successfully tried and co-chaired numerous jury trials while providing her clients with zealous and efficient representation.

Ms. Coughlin handles disputes arising from personal injury, wrongful death, employment, contract, premise liability, defamation, and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. She also serves as regulatory counsel for emerging market start-ups.

Representative Work

  • Served as a lead associate prosecuting Texas Medicaid Fraud Prevention Act cases against the largest generic drug manufacturer in the world. Assisted in obtaining settlement payments of 169 million dollars for the State of Texas and the United States.
  • Successfully represented individuals and businesses in wrongful death/personal injury, contract, employment, defamation, premise liability and DTPA lawsuits.
  • Represented businesses and investors in large, multi-million dollar arbitrations.
  • Provided regulatory counsel to emerging-market enterprises.
  • Tried lawsuits in state and federal courts and obtained favorable jury verdicts for individual and commercial clients.

Community

She has given presented various CLE and published articles on litigation issues, including social media and its impact on the legal system. She is married to an author, and the couple lives in Austin with their children.
