Ms. Cardenas has extensive experience in many areas of civil litigation including construction defect, administrative law, insurance defense, personal injury law, employment litigation, civil rights and government liability claims. In addition to having experience in the private sector, Ms. Cardenas has also worked in the public sector as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Texas Attorney General, specializing on defending the Attorney General's decisions under the Public Information Act in District Court. Ms. Cardenas was actively involved in Moot Court during law school, placing first in brief and second in oral argument in the Butler School Moot Court Competition. She was also on the first place team for the Thurgood Marshall Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C.
